Russian Far East powerlifting champion Ivan Savkin set a new world record by pulling a sea vessel weighing more than 4200 tons for 2.5 metres (8.2 feet), in Primorsky Territory, Tuesday.
Savkin used a shoulder harness and a special ladder attached to the ground for traction during the stunt. After the impressive feat, the strongman said, “Unfortunately, there was a strong wind but nevertheless, everything has succeeded. That is the main thing.”
Savkin dedicated his achievement to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
